The Gospel Of Mark Bible Study Lesson 93:
This
week’s Bible Study of Mark’s Gospel completes the study. My hope and prayer is that we all will grasp the depth of Jesus' love, mercy and compassion toward the people of His day and how Jesus continues to be the same toward us while we await His return. We should take to heart that our relationship with Jesus is a supernatural one and no matter what happens around us, God's plan will not fail. So when we try to understand life we have to view it with an eternal perspective and not lean on our own understanding. When we try to over analyze our present day circumstances we can get sidetracked with rabbit trails of thought unless we see all things through the lens of God's Word. Followers of Jesus must rely on God's Word, the Holy Spirit and good counsel in order to avoid getting deceived by the
enemy. It is Satan's desire to diminish God's power and effectiveness in God's people. The Enemy does not want us to bring glory to God nor does he want us to fulfill
God’s purpose in this world. Because we are called to be ministers of the Gospel we need to shift our focus from a self-centered perspective to a God-centered
one. Our calling includes helping others remain strong in their faith and to live out a life set apart to God. Our Christ-likeness will be a blessing to others yet we will be opposed and persecuted for loving God and our neighbor. This is because our culture is
changing. Good has become evil and evil has become good. So we must stand firm in our
faith and trust in God and continue to love, even though what we believe will be
hated by many. The good news is Jesus has overcome the world. He secured victory
over sin and death. He will not let anyone be snatched out of His
hand. Even though our emotions get stirred up about politics and terror, let us not fall prey to evil thoughts, words and actions. Let us all take this bible passage to heart:

Why did God put this passage in the Bible?

prayer for you:
I pray you will take God’s Word to heart and ask God to help you
apply what you have learned. I hope and pray that this Bible Study helps you
grow spiritually by deepening your faith, trust and love for God.

abundant life, providing for us physically and spiritually:
