Mark Bible Study Lesson 2

Mark Bible Study Lesson 2
Studying the Bible is more than just reading the text. God uses His Word to speak into our lives. When we go in depth by reading and meditating on what God has to say, we can be inspired to have a more personal relationship with Him as well as open the door to be filled with His wisdom and principles; deepen our hope, faith and trust in Him; and have a greater understanding of God’s story and His amazing love.

I pray you will take God’s Word to heart and ask God to help you apply what you have learned. I hope and pray that this Bible Study helps you grow spiritually by deepening your faith, trust and love for God………….Dave

Jesus declared that if we seek God, he will take care of the rest of the things in our lives:

(Matthew 6:33)   "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" In your life, put God first, and He will take care of "all these things."

Read: Mark Chapter 1:9-13

Mark 1:9-13 New International Version (NIV)
The Baptism and Testing of Jesus
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 Just as Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” 12 At once the Spirit sent him out into the wilderness, 13 and he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.
